FWBG is one of my favorite places to go. It’s open to the public, and if you get there early enough, it’s totally quiet. I love going there and I always bring my camera, even if it’s going to rain. The colors of the flowers seem even brighter when it’s cloudy outside.
I didn’t do any processing on this one, but the wide open aperture and strange lines in the plants create a watercolor effect:

This weekend I hosted a couple’s baby shower for my best friend Eri & her husband Michael. It was great fun. It’s been so nice to see Eri’s tummy grow–her baby’s almost here! Click to see all the pictures, but here are a few previews:
