It’s been a long time since my last post, and it’s been a busy summer. After Christi’s shower, I hurt my back, so I haven’t been doing much. I moved houses; I now live with David and our four cats (!). By moving day, I was in pain and not much help, but luckily David helped every step of the way. What would I do without him!
Between that, planning the wedding, and starting a new school year with my students, nothing’s happened except the occasional photograph. Here are a few favorites:

I did a lot of packing, and we decided to keep my dishes.
I gave some things to my little cousin Lanette, who has a new apartment.
Then, it was David’s birthday. His sister sent him a bouquet… of fruit! I’ve always been skeptical of these things, but it was pretty good.
I gave him a wallet.
It replaced his old one.
My cat had trouble adjusting to the move (she’s all right now).
We got our first engagement present! It’s beautifully wrapped.
It’s been a quiet and busy summer. I believe we’re caught up now!
